Snarf, believing that his entire race was destroyed when Thundera exploded, learns that his little nephew Snarfer has been captured. The Thundercats set out to find the Mutants to rescue Snarfer. After successfully saving Snarfer, the Thundercats face the problem of returning Snarfer to his planet. Panthro cleverly invents the Feliner, a spaceship. However, for it to work, the machine needs a hyperspace mega-condenser. Snarf reminds them that there is one on Ratar-O's Ratstar. The Thundercats track the Mutants again to the wreckage of the Ratstar to retrieve their mega-condenser.
