Beckett takes his father home, where he tries to explain why he left Beckett ten years ago, after his mother's funeral. He then explains that he was trying to find out about the whereabouts of a man who is stalking the two witnesses who will send him to prison. Ed goes to check, only to see that the man has escaped. Both witnesses are kidnapped, and Beckett's father eventually reveals that he wants to see that man pay for killing Beckett's mother. So, Beckett and his father set out to find the man, as well as the two witnesses and Alex, who has become involved in this whole story.
